Yes it is definitely important to get the best deal possible (who doesn’t) but at the same time, one should not look past quality. You don’t want to be freezing yourself off in a tent in the middle of the night on a school camp because you decided to go with the cheapo sleeping bag when you could have paid a few more dollars and got one where you would be sleeping in comfort.
